2 Making a Purchase

We deliver to UK only (unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing).

We accept Visa and Mastercard to make payment by phone, mailorder or pay online for website orders.

This website and e-commerce facility does not constitute an offer. Prices are subject to change without notice, subject to stock, E&OE.

The furniture is delivered as component made with full instructions and fittings for assembly by the customer.  By agreement, assembly can be completed by our staff for which there is an additional charge and must be booked and paid for in advance of delivery.  

Shipping and Handling

FREE DELIVERY ON ALL orders over £300 and £10 delivery charge for all orders under £300 (excluding Furniture Protector) delivered to England and Wales (mainland only) unless stated otherwise.

For delivery charges to Scotland, Northern Ireland, other UK islands and anywhere else please contact us for a quote before placing an order.

4 Tax Charges

All prices INCLUDE VAT, currently at 20%.

5 Credit Card Security

Credit card payments for online orders are fully secured and processed by SagePay, an industry leader in the UK. SagePay provide full security and our own website and systems never record your credit card details. You may provide card details by phone if you prefer.

6 Customer Service

We endeavour to respond to any complaints within 5 working days. If we are notified about a problem a "Customer Service Report" is made out which details the name, address, telephone number, date of purchase and order number as well as details of the nature of the complaint from the customer. In addition it is noted what action in response is agreed including timescale to resolve the problem.

Customer service type calls are received on our general telephone number which is answered during normal office hours 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.

7 Delivery Schedule

Goods are delivered within 28 days of order unless advised otherwise. Customers will be telephoned in advance to agree a delivery time and date and to obtain directions for the driver.

8 Cancellations, Returns and Refunds:

8.1 Damaged or Missing Goods

The customer must fully inspect goods on receipt for any sign of damage, missing items or fault. Any damage or fault that should be reasonably identified at delivery should result in either the customer refusing delivery or accepting delivery but in either event ensuring appropriate details are recorded on the delivery note. Any damage, fault, or missing items that can not be reasonably identified on delivery must be reported to us immediately upon discovery but in no case longer than 7 days after delivery.

If goods are received damaged or incomplete, and that damage is reported to us within 7 days of delivery, we will either replace the damaged items or arrange for collection should you request a refund. See ‘Refund Policy’ 8.4 below.

8.2 Cancellation of Order – Before Dispatch

A customer can exercise their right to cancel any time before dispatch, all purchase monies received will be returned. Contact us by phone or email to maximise chances of notification reaching us prior to dispatch. See ‘Refund Policy’ 8.4 below.

8.3 Cancellation of Order – After Dispatch

Customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. A customer wishing to cancel must give us notice initially by phone but also in writing sent at the customers cost by recorded delivery. We will acknowledge receipt of such cancellation notice upon receipt and you will be entitled to a full refund, subject to terms herein, see ‘Refund Policy’ 8.4 below.

The customer must then return the goods to us at their own expense, and must do so within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.

Depending on your location we may be able to collect the goods for you. This will involve a fee which must be paid in advance of collection. The current cost of collection (UK mainland) is £50 within a radius of 100 miles of our head office address and £75 within a radius exceeding 100 miles but not more than 200 miles. If over 200 miles then the 200 mile rate shall apply, plus an additional £10 for every 20 miles over 200 miles. We are unable to offer a collection option for goods that have been delivered to a non UK mainland address.

Goods must be returned or made available to collect in an unused and undamaged condition, as delivered, in the original packaging (or packaging of equal standard). Any items or returned items found to be missing or damaged will be charged for and an appropriate amount deducted from any refund due.

8.4 Refund Policy

In all cases, where payment has been made by Credit or Debit Card any refund due will be made to the same card. Otherwise refunds will be made by cheque or bank transfer at our discretion.

Where a refund is due we will refund as follows:

8.4.1 Order Cancelled Prior to Dispatch
We will refund in full within 2 working days of receipt of written notice of cancellation.

8.4.1 Order Cancelled due to Damaged or Missing Goods
We will refund in full within 2 working days of the goods arriving back at our head office enabling us to verify the damage or missing items.

8.4.1 Order Cancelled within 14 Days of Delivery and returned to us at your cost.
We will refund in full within 2 working days of the (complete and undamaged) goods arriving back at our head office enabling us to check returned items are complete and undamaged. In the event of damaged or missing items when received back by us we will advise you details and the cost to replace or rectify and the refund will be reduced by this amount.

9 Statutory Rights

Nothing contained herein is intended (or able) to affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We will always comply with all relevant UK legislation in force at the time of sale (such as The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014).

10 Privacy Policy and Cookies

Pepe Garden Furniture Ltd. do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this site to physically facilitate the shopping cart, account and checkout functions and to recognise returning visitors. We do not track your individual use of the site (other than as necessary to enable essential functionality – such as which user is placing what items into their order) and do not deliver customised content to you based on your previous interaction with our site. We do use analytics software (Google Analytics and Server Statistics) to monitor how users in general interact with our site.

Data collected on this site is used to:

  1. Take and fulfil customer orders
  2. Send out periodic offers to email addresses (no more than four per annum).  By completing the online shop information questions or the Pepe Patrons Club Form this constitutes acceptance to "opt in" to receive notifications by email.  At any time a customer may choose to unsubscribe, rectify or add further information to that which we hold. 
  3. Only disclose information to third parties for goods delivery purposes or if legally obliged to do so.
